Our modern, spacious four bedroom house with immaculately kept garden and large flowing lawn boasts spectacular views over the surrounding vineyards and dramatic mountain ranges. Our farm neighbours the Knysna Elephant Park which makes elephant and zebra sightings a regular occurrence. Guests can enjoy the large, beautifully manicured lawn, strolls through the vineyards, or leisurely sitting by the picturesque dam watching the birds and elephants. The house has a spacious, fully-equipped kitchen and scullery with washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher, an open plan dining and lounge area with large flat screen TV and DSTV, and an outside patio with gas braai and weber. The guest house is fully secure, with the property entirely surrounded by electric fencing and equipped with an alarm beam system. The farm manager, who lives adjacent to the property, is available on a 24hr basis.
The guest farm, situated in a malaria-free region, is a paradise for nature-lovers and outdoor enthusiasts while the easy-to-navigate roads and short driving distances make the farm the ideal destination for an independent-minded self-drive holiday. In the nearby vicinity, you could go on an elephant-back ride, take a forest canopy tour or visit a monkey or bird sanctuary. Dolphins are often seen offshore - as are whales in season - and for even more wildlife thrills, round off your holiday with a safari in one of the conveniently close – and also malaria-free –game reserves. As mentioned, the surrounding area is a haven for outdoor and sport enthusiasts. The Harkerville forest mountain bike trails is a stone’s through away, as are many hiking trails for runners and hikers alike. Several of the country’s best golf courses are close by, as is the Knysna Lagoon for water sports enthusiasts and fishermen. Various adrenaline and extreme tours operate in the area, including cannoning and rappelling tours, parasailing and paragliding.
